Welcome to SYCO Machinery. In 1966 the first HOFMANN wheel balancing machine was imported and the contract with HOFMANN as sole importer/distributor for South Africa was signed in 1967. After 40 years Syco Machinery is still the sole distributor for HOFMANN workshop equipment and HUNGER brake service machines. Over time other product lines have been added which include GS/BOXER wheel service equipment and HESHBON lifting equipment. A further milestone was the introduction of our inhouse production TECHNOBRAKE range of vehicle roadworthy test equipment in the early 1990s. More recently the BUTLER range of tyre changers has been added to our sales program. The company operates from its head office in Johannesburg with branches in Cape Town and Durban and has qualified service technicians who service and maintain the equipment countrywide ensuring the best service possible. A comprehensive range of spare parts is stocked for the entire range of equipment. As one of the longest standing equipment suppliers in South Africa our equipment is used by a large number of companies/groups including: BMW SA, DCSA, FORD, VW, DELTA, TOYOTA, NISSAN, TIGER WHEELS, TRENTYRE, HI-Q, SUPAQUICK, SPEEDY, DAD, KWIK FIT plus a large number of independent tyre fitment centres and garages.
